BANKNEWPORT NAMES VICE PRESIDENT
BankNewport President and CEO, Sandra J. Pattie has announced the appointment of Aaron C. Guckian to vice president, branch sales manager of the Bank’s East Greenwich office located at
1000 Division Street. He will be responsible for branch operations, business development, and staff development.
Guckian comes to BankNewport from the Washington Trust Company of Westerly, where he served as sales coordinator. He was formerly special projects coordinator with Rhode Island Family Court in Providence and Director of Advance in the Governor’s Office of the State of Rhode Island.
Aaron earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Education from Connecticut College in New London, received a Master of Arts degree from Rhode Island College, and is currently enrolled in the Master of Business Administration program at Johnson and Wales University.
An active civic leader, Aaron currently serves as chairman and board member of the Warwick Sewer Authority and is a member of the board of directors for Opera Providence, the Central Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce, and World Trade Day at Bryant University. He is also a member of the Rhode Island Arthritis Foundation Leadership Council.
Aaron is a resident of Warwick, Rhode Island.
