    Event Description:
    On Saturday, October 17th at 1:00pm, the Friends of the East Greenwich Free Library will host the Korean Spirit & Culture Promotion Project for a wonderful celebration of Korean culture and cuisine! Please join us at the Swift Gym at 63 Spring Street, East Greenwich for this interesting and educational program! Fun for all ages, the event will feature a short film on the Hidden Treasures of Korean Art & Modern Korea, the re-enactment of a Korean Wedding Ceremony along with a delicious Korean meal being served after the program. The Korean Spirit and Culture Promotion Project is a non-for-profit organization formed in September, 2005 to promote Korean history and culture to the wider world. The Group is headquartered in Seoul, Korea and members from the branch in New York will be traveling here for the program. The event is free of charge, and open to the public, but space is limited. Reservations are encouraged by October 9th to ensure minimum participation. Please email friendseglibrary@gmail.com to reserve your spot, or call the library at 884-9510, extension #3. The Friends of East Greenwich Free Library is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to supporting and enhancing library services.
