    Event Description:
    Please join the East Greenwich Chamber of Commerce in our second annual fall golf tournament benefiting the Rhode Island Food Bank and the East Greenwich Animal Protection League. The tourney will be held on Monday, October 3 at Cranston Country Club.
     
    Tee off will be at 12:45 pm, with registration beginning at 11:30 am. This will be a great day of golf, contests, food, and fun! There will be raffles, auctions, a steak fry, and more. 
     
    The East Greenwich Chamber has planned to have as a guest speaker and auctioneer, Steve McDonald. Steve is the voice of URI basketball and football. He is also known for his work as Jim Shorts on sports for 94.1 WHJY. 
    Location:
    This championship 18-hole course, designed by Geoffrey Cornish, plays to 6,915 yards for the golfer looking for the ultimate challenge or from 6,109 yards for the golfer looking for a fun relaxing enjoyable day on the links. Both will allow true appreciation for the fun and excitement of this wonderful design.

    Cranston Country Club features Rhode Island's only true island green and has hosted such events as the Cleveland Golf Tour, RIGA four-ball championship, and the Ocean State Women's Golf Association Amateur Championship.
