Raskin Resources Productions Podcast Series Development Presentation
In this "Podcast Series Development "presentation, participants will explore four areas:
- Podcast Concept and Creation: Participants will learn the differences and benefits of podcasts and video podcasts for a healthcare audience and define their “why.”
- Podcast delivery: Participants will learn the components of developing scripts, intros and outros and interview questions. We will explore, tone and style of podcast, timing and pacing and storytelling.
- Podcast Production /Tools: Participants will learn terminology and the resources for recording, editing and post-production.
- Podcast Marketing and Distribution: Participants will learn how to utilizing reels, social media, ways to repurpose content, how to gain exposure through the media and guest interviews and using SEO’s and analytics, stats and polls.
BIO:
Patricia Raskin is a speaker, trainer, podcast host and award-winning producer. She recently hosted and produced the “Positive Aging” podcast series for Rhode Island PBS and the “Healthy Aging” podcast series for Southcoast Health hospital system. Patricia’s media programs have aired on NPR, PBS, Fox and Cumulus affiliates and she has interviewed over 5,000 guest experts in her career on her programs that focus on positive living and health care providers.
Patricia presents wellness, stress management, conflict resolution and leadership trainings for corporations and organizations. Her master’s degree is in counseling and she is a certified life coach (CPC). Patricia has received several awards in career including awards for her work in the media, as a small business owner and in the areas of leadership and achievement.

Main Street Beautification Project
At a recent meeting of the East Greenwich Chamber's Main Street Merchants Committee, an initiative was launched in an effort for the beautification of Main Street in East Greenwich. A fundraiser is now underway to raise money for projects such as new plants & flowers, lights, banners, and similar items to upgrade Main Street's look.
To accomplish our goals, we are asking for contributions to our efforts to enhance Main Street’s charming appearance.
