The East Greenwich Chamber of Commerce, as a “thank you” for your support and as a stimulus for local businesses, is now launching its Chamber Sent Me Program for the Holiday Season. You may recall that we ran this campaign in May & October and are now about to bgin a third campaign starting on Small Business Saturday November 30.

Many of you accept EG Chamber Gift Certificates and you know the value of them in getting customers to your place of business. The Chamber Sent Me Program is an extension of that program. The Chamber will issue $10.00 gift coupons (acts like cash) to all members. Here is how the program works:

•In November, all EG Chamber members of good standing will be mailed a $10.00 coupon.

•The $10.00 coupon is the same as cash and is good for a minimum $10.00 purchase.

•The Chamber will reimburse our member merchants for $10.00 gift coupons immediately upon presentation.

•The gift coupons will be valid at our EG Chamber members who accept gift certificates place of business through December 24, 2013.

•Merchants must present/redeem their gift coupons by January 31, 2014.

•All gift coupons will be redeemed at 100% (no fees/charges).

•The Chamber asks that merchant Personnel write down on the space provided on the coupon the total amount of the purchase when sending in for redemption. This will give us the ability to track success so future such programs will be successful. If possible, please write the name of person presenting the coupon as well.

This program is administered by the EG Chamber of Commerce and is sponsored by Independence Bank, member FDIC. We believe in the encouragement of buying local and we appreciate your support of Chamber activities, such that our mission can be carried out.
