SENIOR CARE CONCEPTS ANNOUNCES 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY

    March 07, 2016
Senior Care Concepts, based in Warwick, Rhode Island, announced they are Celebrating their 10th Anniversary this year. Jenny Miller and her team at Senior Care Concepts Inc. assist seniors, spouses and their families plan for life’s transitions.

Over the past 10 years Jenny and her team have been providing a solution based care management to Rhode Island’s senior population and providing expert advice and guidance to families making decisions about life transitions and care for the future. “We are unique because we are working one on one with clients and their families, catering to their needs and providing a variety of options,” said Miller. “It’s a holistic process. We look at the whole person, the whole scenario and the resources available for the individual and their families.

Our focus as Care Managers is to assess clients’ current and future needs, coordinate care to meet those needs, provide ongoing assessments and modify the care plan as needed. We are client and family advocates, ensuring all needs are met and follow the clients throughout the continuum of care. As services are needed, such as home health care or a physician referral, we as care managers seek out providers that best suit the clients’ situations. During a crisis, we are able to mobilize in a very timely manner-sometimes at a moment’s notice. Should clients need to consider alternate living arrangements, we assist in this transitional process as well. We meet directly with clients and their families wherever it is most convenient for them.

In addition to leading her company, Principal Jenny Miller is also a leader in the community. She is a frequent guest faculty member at the Rhode Island Geriatric Education Center and was recognized in 2011 as the Social Worker of the Year by the RI Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers. Jenny is an active member of the Providence Rotary Club and Chair of the Flip Flops for Friends Fundraising organization, which gives flip flops and school supplies to needy children and families in the Dominican Republic.
