People's Credit Union Donates to the Salvation Army Angel Tree Program

    January 04, 2016
People’s Credit Union participated in the Salvation Army’s, Angel Tree Program throughout the month of December.  This program involved Angel Trees with tags set up in the lobbies of all six People’s Credit Union branches.  Everyone was invited to select a gift tag for a child, which included age, gender and gift requested.

With the help of the community, the Newport Salvation Army was able to give gifts to 448 children within 198 families.  Each of these children was able to receive three items of clothing and three toys.  The Providence Salvation Army was able to give gifts to over 4,000 children within 1,705 families.  Each of these children received at least one item of clothing and four to five toys.

People’s Credit Union extends their upmost gratitude to everyone who donated to a needy child this holiday season.
