Dr. Cindy Azevedo Joins Holistic Health RI

Dr. Azevedo, ND, D.Ac., received her degrees from University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine (UBCNM), an accredited four-year postgraduate medical program committed to natural therapeutics and New England School of Acupuncture (NESA), the oldest graduate school for the study of East Asian Medicine (EAM) in the United States.

She is a Licensed Acupuncturist in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, who combines traditional Eastern and Western holistic modalities deeply rooted in Nature. Dr. Cindy, a lifelong learner, followed her appreciation for the Innate Healing Arts pursuing additional training in CranioSacral Therapy (Integrative Bodyworks Institute) and Core Synchronization.

Dr. Cindy serves people of all ages and life stages with gentle, safe, effective Naturopathic and East Asian Medical treatments that alleviate both the symptoms and the underlying cause of the disorder. Her focus is to promote health and prevent disease; to restore health & wellbeing with individualized, sensible guidance while adopting a preventative lifestyle which promotes healing.
She respects all professionals in the healthcare continuum and believes collaboration is valuable to restore one’s well-being. She collaborates with and refers to other healthcare providers and is happy to accept referrals.

Interventions include acupuncture, botanical medicine, clinical nutrition, nutraceuticals, homeopathy, mind-body medicine, craniosacral therapy, lifestyle counseling and movement.
